Weeks 1, 2, 3
> Conceptualize 3+ project directions that carry a theme or main message (read/study The Haptic)
> Begin small scale mock-ups (conduct quick tech tests, make circuitry maps/develop logic)
> Research different mediums (i.e. materials, technology, space, types of light)
> Study lighting/technical circuitry
> Address the issue of “story”
> Begin to expand source/reference list (on blog)
> Post reflections, write-ups on blog
Weeks 4, 5, 6
> Conduct lighting experimentation through 2-3 working mini projects
> Develop stories/narratives relative to the project(s)
> Solidify thesis direction: develop working title with attached write-up
> Solidify thesis direction: start developing “elevator pitch”
> Research/materials exploration at CMTEL
> Continue lighting/technical practice (i.e. circuitry, sensors…)
> Continue to expand source/reference list (on blog)
> Post reflections, write-ups on blog
Weeks 7, 8, 9
> Intermediate development of lighting concept(s)
> Decide and move forward with developing out apprx. 2-3 concepts
> Solidify working “elevator pitch”
> Continue to expand source/reference list (on blog)
> Post reflections, write-ups on blog
Weeks 10, 11
> Being refinements to projects: begin finalizing lighting concepts
> Begin exploring/ organizing potentialities of the project (i.e. documentation, write-ups, expand resource list)
> Prepare for Thesis Review
> Continue to expand source/reference list (on blog)
> Post reflections, write-ups on blog
Weeks 12
> Refinements to project(s) for thesis review
> Final Presentation for Illuminations course
> Post process documentation and write-ups
> THESIS REVIEW – directions for M6
Weeks 13, 14
> Final advisement meetings with Dan and Penny
> Continue to add process documentation (written/visual)
> Post remaining assets to website/blog
> Begin to prepare further goals for M6
